A graduate of UTS in Building and Construction Management from where he also acquired graduate degrees in education, Robert remains actively licensed as a Class A builder in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT, n °: 2015713) where he also holds a dormant license as Senior Building Surveyor. He is also an accredited quantity surveyor and building economist – also being accredited in all of these disciplines at level 1 on the National Register of Building Professionals (NBPR).
He served for seven years on the Discipline Committee of the New South Wales Building Professionals Council, the state’s regulatory body for building surveyors and certification engineers. Robert has also been extensively involved in the formulation of laws and regulations affecting the construction industry in this state (including Law 205 on the Council of Building Professionals and, more recently, the Defect Inspection Regime of stratum and regulations of the law on designers and building practitioners); it goes without saying that he is registered to perform strata fault inspections in this state.
