Phillip has two decades of experience in the construction, engineering and infrastructure industries, both in-house and in private practice, advising on the full life cycle of construction projects, from drafting and project and transactional advice; project delivery and advice, through to dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, determination of experts and adjudication.

Phillip will further strengthen the firm’s ability to advise global contractors on complex and contentious issues in the construction industry, and will be part of a leading global team helping clients navigate a buoyant market resulting from the increase in infrastructure spending across Asia-Pacific.

Phillip is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and as a barrister in England and Wales. Having spent considerable time in the UK, he brings in-depth knowledge of the Australian and UK market and his expertise is regularly recognized by legal directories.

Phillip joins the Sydney office of Clyde & Co from Vincent Young and previously served as senior legal counsel at Lendlease Engineering.
