Paul H This is severely underrated, this movie shows a deeper, more introspective side to Tony Stark, someone whose womanising playboy lifestyle was repulsive and who later became a better human. In my opinion it remains one of the very best marvel movies. The final section is as explosive as every other marvel story. Extremis also features heavily in Agents Of Shield. Robert Downey Jr. is an acting genius. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review Juan C The worst MCU movieThe trailer promised everything the previous two films were missing, especially Iron Man's worst comic book enemy. But the plot is full of nonsense, plot holes, from a villain with a ridiculous origin, a War machine transformed into an Iron patriot saving the president of the United States, a Tony Stark who looks more like Robert Downey Jr. than Tony Stark , a useless armor and many other disposable ones, all these defects and more, hidden in a lot of action, special effects and enough romance to attract the public and distract the critics who do not have the slightest idea of what the Iron Man comic is really like. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/13/24 Full Review DZ E 85/100 I Actually enjoyed this movie. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/29/24 Full Review Audience Member Amazing movie! Great story and overall fun to watch. But I did think the villains where a little boring. Very great ending and definitely worth watching! Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/20/24 Full Review George B It's not really worth going into much detail. RDJ is great as Tony Stark as usual, but as a viewer, I feel like they are just trying to copy the OG formula from Iron Man 1. This movie will keep you entertained, and you might even get a couple laughs out of it. The new suit looks cool, and there is some okay action. Iron Man is not the problem for me.The trailer for this movie sets up a dark type of movie, which we had not seen in Iron Man 1 and 2. The stakes were high, and I entered this movie with a sense of excitement. As the movie progressed, I kept waiting for something really bad to happen... and then it happens—the most underwhelming experience of my lifetime (I won't spoil), but really nothing special. The plot then goes on to become flat and a lot like Iron Man 2.Pros: I liked the new suit; you can see that the suit is really pissing Tony off, and that Thor was a clear inspiration in the making of it. The use of I am Blue was great; I really liked that opening, but not only that, the Christmas vibe is top teir. I think this was a better movie than Iron Man 2, and I would rather rewatch this any day of the week; however, it does feel repulsive. The movie also has great visuals and effects as well; overall, just a badass action flick.Negatives: The plot was very bland and uninteresting; some plot points feel poorly handled or just unexplained. The twist came out of nowhere, and it just felt kind of last minute for some reason. I was really excited when I heard guy Pearce was going to be in this; however, I actually hated him in this movie and just thought he was annoying. I feel like he should have been left out of the movie.Overall, this film was fun; don't expect anything huge to happen; this is just going to be a movie that you will watch, and then forget about 30 minutes later.Rating: 5.3/10 Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/03/24 Full Review TNT D While it is a heated debate on whether the 2nd or 3rd 'Iron Man' movie is best, it all comes down to your personal preferences as a movie-goer. The second film is more focused on sticking to the MCU's roots with a more traditional film, while this film is more of a blockbuster, which works very well for Iron Man. Has a good moral and is an overall good (Christmas?) film. 7/10 -TNTDude Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/01/24 Full Review Read all reviews
